Second on this list is The Mistborn Series, specifically Mistborn era 1. This is not only one of the best cosmere series but also my personal recommendation for where to start with the cosmere.

The reason I didn't like this book is probably mostly my own fault. I had just finished reading Mistborn Era 1, so I was on the high that that finale gave me.. The Alloy of Law is a very different book written in a very different style with new characters that seem nothing like what I was used to!. I rushed into Mistborn Era 2, and that's completely my own, fault.
